Meet the author

A father’s heart behind the story.

Jon Morgan is a St. Louis native, dad, and lifelong follower of Jesus with a heart for helping children know God. He created The Good News for Kids! after struggling to find a book that clearly explained the gospel and what it truly means to believe in Jesus. He hopes this book will help families share the gospel with their kids in a way that is clear, faithful, and full of hope. He earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology and Christian Studies from Mississippi College, a background that shaped his thoughtful approach to communicating big truths with young hearts. As a dad to two young boys, Jon understands the joy and responsibility of helping children know who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him. He hopes this book will help point more children toward a relationship with Christ.
